He is married with 3 children and lives in Bath where he will be running as a candidate for Libertas in the South West of England.
Summary of what you have done, but what about what you are going to do in Europe?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you believe in? What are your priorities?
ReplyDeleteMaybe its me, but I am unable to find your policies on this site. For this reaon I ask you what the policies are regarding the euro, ID cards. Reply prior to elections would be helpful
ReplyDeleteLooks like a decent bloke. Could I be a Libertas MEP? I'm really only interested in the benefits, allowances, pension, perks, pay and anonymity but I wouldn't sell out my own country, so that's much better than most MEPs for a start. I certainly wouldn't have given back the hard earned rebate Maggie fought so valiantly for, like that imbecile Tony B'liar. I certainly would invite the Spanish fishermen to hoover up what little fish remains in British waters, as UKIP did. I'd fight for a referendum on all treaties (and the like) AND fight for far greater democracy, accountability and transparency in that retirement home for discredited politians that is the EU we all know and regret. I'm warming to this. Perhaps I really could do this? What do you think?
ReplyDeleteNo mention of commercial experience and your political experience, from your statement above, appears very specialised and I question whether this experience is relevant to a MEP. There is also no mention of what you are going to do in Europe, which would help to convince me that you are the man for the job. I was seriously considering voting Libertas, but if you are the candidate I feel I just cannot vote for you. If you give me more information about your suitability you may change my mind. I am dissapointed that I cannot use my vote for Libertas at this moment in time.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to do in Europe? Please be specific about your policies, e.g. what is your position on trade, EU immigration, integration of new countries into the EU? The election is tommorrow, please answer soon.
ReplyDeleteLibertas sounds great and I support all of the policy facts that have been published so far - you should certainly kick Ukip into touch..! However, I have been looking on the Libertas site to find my local representative in North Devon and have been unable to locate such a link - do you not think that the site should freely show and advertise the representatives and the areas that they represent and an email address to the local office...? Otherwise, how else should I discover who my rep is and what he will stand up for...?
ReplyDeleteI also asked when joining the site how I might obtain some posters small and large for House & Car to advertise what I believe in - Nothing has been forthcoming...!
I therefore must ask; Are you serious or will this be just another wasted vote...?
Lou Garçon
Agree with the above comment - have looked as the site as the Party are on the local list and the fact that they are about EU reform rather than withdrawal appealed. However, I vote on a bit more than headlines and if they can't make the effort to respond to posts in the run up to an election, then what chance is there when they are on the tiring journeys at tax payers expense to Brussels to stay in nice hotels claiming a daily allowance for staying there?
